I like Saturdays.

It's been a while since I posted anything with meat to it, I feel. Mostly just pictures of events and things we've been doing, as you have seen. I guess that's meat. Meat and potatoes, as my old "Professional Selling" professor in college used to say.
Well, here is yet another post to add to that bucket: Mariah's soccer game.

It was such a beautiful day - not too terribly sunny and not awfully hot.

We have a funny family. And sometimes, the things that happen with us just make me CRACK. Up. I don't know if it's the way we say things or how we act, but we all just seem to strike eachother's funny bones, a lot. Which is one thing I love about us.

When we arrived to the game, Anna needed help with the team snacks and such from her car. "Just a cooler," she said.

Next thing you know she's carrying two gi-normous bags of popcorn and a big blanket. Dad's lugging this mongo cooler full of water and some chairs on the side. And mom has a pack of water and a water bottle in her hands.

I was pushing Leaves in the stroller.

With all this gear, we trekked around the field to get to the other side. It felt like we were crossing the Sahara with camping supplies for three weeks.

Dad blurts, "I feel like I'm mowing the lawn all over again." He had mowed earlier that day.

I look back and there they all are, lugging mounds of crap like it was their job. It was hilarious.

"Geasy peasy," said Dad.

Anna asked if he was ok: "Not really," he groaned. LOL.

You should have SEEN us.

Anyway, we finally got to the other side, settled in, and they told us, "Oh, you know you can't really be on this side of the field, right?"

Um, no.

Oh well.

This is Leaves and Grandma at the Farmer's Market earlier in the day. It has become a routine for us!

I guess Dad was worn out from lugging everything. AND...from mowing the grass.

That's my dad! One handsome dude!

After they told us we had to move, Dad moved alright. All the way to the corner. He likes to make a statement.

 This is Mariah's soccer team.

Pretty girl.

Levi is Six Months Old

Most days I cannot believe that Levi is already six months old. It seems like just yesterday we found out I was pregnant.

But as soon as we knew it we were at the hospital ready to give birth.

And then he was born...sweet and precious.

And then he turned one month old.

Two months.

Three.

Four.

Five.

And six.

My handsome boy!!

A Happy Birthday and a pre-Happy Easter!

Happy Birthday Mom! We all love you...

Including John and Tiffany.

And Leaves with his hat from Russia.

And his hat from Ross.

And his hoodie from Wal-mart.

And all of his friends.

Aunt Anna.

 Aunt Carrie.

Grandpa.

And Aunt Betsy.

You're the best Mom and Grandma anyone could ask for!

As a prelude to Easter and summer coming, I thought I'd also share the Easter gift outfit Grandpa and GG sent for Leaves. I can't wait to put it on him!

Including some clothes daddy bought him.

And his first Easter Bunny and Easter Bible story from Grandma Nanny!

HAPPY EASTER! Love, Levi
